Leicester Youth Chorus…
The Leicester Youth Chorus comprises two choirs (Junior Chorus & Senior Chorus) which provide young people aged 6 – 25 years with an opportunity to:
- Develop their singing and wider musical skills
- Socialise and make new friends;
- Sing a wide range of musical repertoire;
- Develop confidence as performers.
As well as performing 3 concerts per year, one in each term, the Chorus takes part in other ventures, including the Leicester Festival of Music and Drama, Young Voices at the NEC arena in Birmingham and we also perform from time to time as part of the programme in outside events.
We meet to rehearse every Tuesday during term time at St Margaret’s Church, Leicester LE1 3EB.
